Thanks for visiting us! East Coast Clambakes is a full service catering company based in Connecticut. We provide catered clambakes and BBQ's cooked at your location. Our staff has been serving clambakes all over New England for more than twenty years. No event is too casual or too formal for our team.
Our clambakes are perfect for weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, reunions or graduations. Whether your event is a beach party in Fairfield, a wedding in Litchfield or a corporate event in Stamford, we will make your party an experience to remember.
OUR STORY
"Clambakes have been a part of the Cohn family history for three generations. I have spent my entire adult life catering clambakes onsite throughout New England, starting in Southern Connecticut in the mid 2000's and eventually founding Clambakes of Massachusetts in 2010. In 2021 I decided to form East Coast Clambakes to concentrate exclusively on the rest of New England.
East Coast Clambakes is supported by a fabulous staff that boasts years of experience in the catering business. Our team realizes how important your event is to you and stops at nothing to ensure its success. Our flexibility, attention to detail and fresh local ingredients have been the hallmark of our service.
I believe in catering every event as if it were for my own family. That means going the extra mile for every one of our customers. Our years of experience means we have a wide range of resources to ensure your event goes off perfect, but as a local family business I take great pride making sure every detail is as it should be. Every Saturday morning you will find me personally inspecting each lobster that comes into our main kitchen.

East Coast Clambakes provides more than just great clambake and BBQ catering. From 20 guests to 2,000, our goal is to make every event a moment to remember. Our packages are a perfect fit for any type of event, from a casual backyard clambake to an elegant wedding. Weddings, corporate clambakes, reunions, graduation parties, birthday parties, Bar or Bat Mitzvahs and cocktail parties are just some of the events we typically cater.
Corporate Clambakes
Planning your next corporate outing? A corporate clambake is a fun and unique way to impress employees, guests and coworkers. We can help with any budgetary limits or logistical constraints, such as time restrictions and setup space limitations. In addition to a delicious clambake or barbecue, we can also help supply all dinnerware, beverages and wait staff. The only thing required is a place for your guests to eat and East Coast Clambakes can bring the rest.
Clambake Weddings
Whether your wedding is big or small, formal or casual, your food should be memorable. Over the last 10 years we have catered many clambake weddings. Regardless of the size, or location, we work tirelessly to ensure each of our couples gets the service and experience they expect. Formal dinnerware, additional waitstaff, venue referrals and beverage service are just some of the services we can provide.​
Birthday, Reunion or Graduation
Impress your guests with a meal they won't stop talking about. Our packages can be designed for any occasion. Instead of ordering out or spending your evening in the kitchen, let our professional team do it. We cook all of our clambakes and barbeques fresh at your location. All we require is an outdoor space. We travel through most of New England and can also supply wait staff and licensed bartenders.
